The UFC’s home base will have a new name in 2026 after the organization and Meta announced Wednesday a naming rights partnership for the APEX, an innovative live event and broadcast production facility located in Las Vegas.
Going forward, the venue will be called Meta APEX, a press release explained.
UFC president Dana White said the naming agreement is a five-year deal.
The venue, which first opened in 2019 and is adjacent to the UFC’s headquarters in Nevada, has hosted 119 total UFC events since the middle of 2020. It also regularly hosts UFC Fight Night events, plus Dana White’s Contender Series cards, The Ultimate Fighter reality series, some Brazilian jiu-jitsu events and will begin hosting Zuffa Boxing cards there this year.
According to the press release: “As part of the naming rights, Meta branding will be integrated throughout the facility. UFC and Meta will also work together to create interactive experiences inside the venue. These spaces will feature some of Meta’s latest advancements in technology and will invite fans and athletes to deepen their engagement with UFC in new and innovative ways.”
The organization also announced in the press release that tickets for Meta APEX events will be available to the general public for the first time as the building undergoes an expansion.
“Meta is always at the forefront of technology and immersive experiences, and their enhancements will change the way fans view live fights,” White stated in the press release. “This rebranding comes at the perfect time as the facility is completing a major renovation, expanding capacity, concessions, hospitality, and UFC retail. For the first time ever, fans can come to Meta Apex and experience UFC fights with interactive VR, AI, and wearable technology. I can’t wait for fans to see it.”
White was elected to Meta’s board of directors one year ago before the UFC and Meta initially announced their partnership in April of 2025 with Meta being named the UFC’s first Official Fan Technology Partner.
Meta’s founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, is notoriously a huge fan of the UFC and trains in both jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts. Zuckerberg has attended marquee UFC events on a regular basis in recent years and has developed friendships with some of the UFC’s biggest friends.
The UFC’s first Meta APEX event of 2026 is scheduled for Feb. 7 and features bantamweight contenders Mario Bautista and Vinicius Oliveira in the main event.
